ABOUT George Eckerd,
Wealth and Markets Research Director

George Eckerd is the Research Director for the Wealth and Markets group of the JPMorgan Chase Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, George held positions in the New York Fed’s Markets Group and the Federal Reserve Board, where he focused on monetary policy implementation and analysis of the U.S. Treasury market. His public sector experience includes service as an international economist at the U.S. Treasury Department. George began his career at BlackRock, Inc. as a global research analyst covering merger arbitrage and other event-driven strategies on a portfolio management team. George received his PhD in economics from Georgetown University. He holds a Master in Public Affairs degree from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
